Ecstatic Dance Honoka‘a at The People’s Theatre is back this Sunday, February 26, 2023.
For this dance, we’ll have veteran DJ, and one of the Ecstatic Dance Honoka‘a co-creators, Danny Waddell, behind the decks with a nourishing set for this dance.

DJ Danny Waddell
Danny Waddell is a seasoned DJ and event promoter who made Hawai‘i his home in 2014 after a decade in Orlando and growing up in Atlanta.
Danny’s journey as a DJ started nearly three decades ago. He cut his teeth in the rave scene during the 90s, refined and honed his skills in the club circuit in the 2000s and 2010s, and in 2019 he felt an internal shift towards Ecstatic Dance. Since then, he has been fully immersed in the world of conscious and global dance music. His sets are not bound by genre; they are guided by the intention of exploring humanity, empathy, and the full spectrum of emotions. Danny has a passion for all forms of dance music and believes that when fueled by purposeful intention: music, movement, and dance can connect us to deeper parts of our consciousness and can be powerful tools for discovery, healing, and transformation.
As he joins Ecstatic Dance Honokaa this Sunday, Danny is excited to share his findings and offer a set that is intended to captivate the mind, body, and the soul.
Audrey Alice (Yoga)
Audrey Alice teaches an out-of-the-box creative Vinyasa Flow practice that helps get people out of their heads and focused on the sensations in their bodies. Her welcoming and charming vibe and enjoyable classes attract everyone, from beginner yogis to fellow instructors. She will guide us through embodied movement that feels fantastic, whatever your level, and will be a fantastic warm-up for our Ecstatic Dance.
