ODYSSEUS (Music Facilitator)
Odysseus (Lush Hawaii) began his musical journey in the mid-nineties as a resident DJ for the California desert tribe Integral Gathering and for the LA-based Zodiac Tribe, playing eclectic sets often with live musicians, mixing Asian, Middle Eastern, and African elements into diverse beats.
After moving to Hawai‘i, Odysseus spearheaded legendary Big Island dance events at the turn of the millennium. He became one of the original Ecstatic Dance facilitators at Kalani, an event pioneered by his friend and fellow DJ Max Fathom. Odysseus has performed with Bass Nectar, Tipper, Treavor Moontribe, and many other lesser-known but just as talented artists. He simultaneously cultivates an underground club presence and has just returned from an invigorating tour of Amsterdam, Germany, and Belgium.
dANNY WADDELL (Music Facilitator)
As an ecstatic dance facilitator, Danny is a weaver of sound, embodiment, connection, and community.
His sets create a container for journeys that invite dancers into the heart of the human experience.
With a sound that transcends genre limitations, Danny meticulously crafts his sets with love to offer soundscapes designed for excavating depths, surrendering into sweetness, and finding liberation through the embrace of it all.
Danny’s passion for dance music started nearly three decades ago and has taken him from DJing and producing events in the Atlanta rave scene, to the Orlando club circuit, and most recently to the Hawai‘i Island Ecstatic Dance Community.
The evolution in his approach to music and dance reflects the evolution of his consciousness across the years of his life.
As one of the hosts of Ecstatic Dance Honoka‘a, and a guest music facilitator at Kalani, Danny is grateful for each opportunity to co-create and learn within community, to be on a personal and collective path of discovery, healing, transformation, and cultivation of all the good things.

J Sun is a lover of music, dance, and the journey who likes to go deeeeeep.
With roots in the conscious underground of Los Angeles, Ojai, Bali, and Hawai‘i, J Sun is stoked to share an eclectic mix of world, tribal, bass, and deep house grooves for dropping into high vibes and good times.
